Description

The prescription of exercise is the rehabilitation specialist's most powerful and reliable intervention to advance a patient's mobility, strength and performance in everything from basic daily tasks to sports participation. This lecture will provide the learner with the foundational knowledge on the effect of exercise on the body, the importance of applying individualized and periodized exercise programs, and monitoring technique of movement. Additionally, cases will be presented that highlight the clinical use of the concepts, allowing the attendee to visualize the application of these ideas on a daily basis.

Learning Objectives
