Learning Objectives
HSS Professional Education activities are intended to improve the quality of patient care and safety. At the conclusion of this course the participant will be able to:

- Compare the use of diagnostic ultrasound with other commonly used imaging procedures.
- Identify the steps to generate, identify and interpret a diagnostic ultrasound image.
- Discuss clinical application via case examples involving the use of diagnostic ultrasound in clinical practice.
